Ready, Set, Grow! - Todd Smart

Todd Smart has successfully built more than three businesses and then successfully sold them to exit and he's done it all in different industries.  So, it can be said, that he knows what it takes to grow businesses.  Good thing too, because now he spends his time helping entrepreneurs and leadership teams excel. He's a certified implementer of something called the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS), an innovative system based on the book by Gino Wickman called Traction: Get a Grip On Your Business. The system asks the question: "Do you have a grip on your business, or does your business have a grip on you?" He says that all entrepreneurs and business leaders face similar frustrations—personnel conflict, profit woes, and inadequate growth. Decisions never seem to get made, or, once made, fail to be properly implemented.  The solution to these problems is not complicated or theoretical, they say. Todd, himself a successful serial entrepreneur,  discusses the concept at a high level and the six-step plan that in large-part describes the process they use as part of the EOS and why it works so well for businesses between $2 Million and $50 Million in size.
