Growth Brings Change
There's no pride lost in changing your mind as you learn and grow. While it may mean that you've flip-flopped on an idea, or changed your perspective, that's a good thing. It means you've learned better and done better.
Extend a hand
Leaders, ever noticed your internal reaction when you feel someone has flip-flopped on an idea? Did you think that they lacked credibility? Did you find yourself judging them for changing their minds? Now think about that same situation in a political sense. We almost forbid politicians from learning and growing by calling them out when they flip-flop on ideas, policies, proposals, and ideals. Could it be, just like us, they deserve the chance to change perspectives, learn, and grow? Would it not be possible for them to grow in their understanding of a situation and change their minds on how to address it? It's like that for us too - or at least it ought to be. Our understanding of roadblocks, challenges, and opportunities were good enough to yield yesterday's outcomes. Shifting your perspective ought to come with new ideas. New proposals. New policy. New energy. Next time someone flip-flops extend a hand and encourage future growth and learning. You're likely to have something to teach each-other. Make it a great day,Govindh@WiseNapkin
